There is a need for a new language of Jewish festival art. One possibility comes from an American trained artist, scientist, entrepreneur, who is a global nomad.

The Jewish diaspora has survived several challenges over the centuries, and still continues to flourish and lead. Often the ugly head of antisemitism rises, and the community needs to stand together. Several traditional and modern artists, often Jewish, have found art as the language of the identity of the Jewish diaspora.

Dr. Sukant Khurana grew up in an atheistic family of professors teaching different languages in India, with his late mother writing in 17 professionally. Unlike his commuist and atheist father, Sukant enjoys religious diversity, and in addition to his scientific pursuits, studies religions and communities from anthropological and cultural perspective. Sukant's higher education was from Texas and New York, USA in neuroscience, mathematics, artificial intelligence, drug discovery, and cell biology. He is a notable artist, musician, writer, neuroscientist, AI researcher, food and medicine entrepreneur. He is well known for citizen science, and reforming research conduct. Dr. Khurana explores the metaphors of all major religions and communities of the world, and makes both high art and popular art to celebrate cultural diversity. Sukant's life has been full of friends, extended family, colleagues and teachers of Jewish descent. He has started this journey with blue and white colors and the Star of David in repeating patterns. His inspirations for this novel metaphor have been Kooning, Harris, and Escher. We, the friends of Dr. Khurana believe that this will be an excellent language of identity and diversity around Hanukkah, Passover, and other Jewish festivals. These greetings can be used in T-shirts, mugs, print, cards and a lot more. The art journals he has created with this metaphor, can be excellent coffee-table books.
